This Privacy Policy is applicable to GrowBetween Trading Co. and sets out our policy on the gathering and use of information on this web site (“Site”).

Although you are not required to register to access our Site, you may be asked to provide us with your company information when you visit certain sections of our Site. Your use of our Site signifies your acknowledgement and consent to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not continue to use our Site. Your continued use of the Site signifies your acceptance of these terms and any changes in effect at the time of use.


There may be links from our Site to other websites; note that this Privacy Policy applies only to our Site and not to websites of other companies or organizations to which our Site may be linked. You must check on any linked sites for the privacy policy that applies to that site and/or make any necessary inquiries in respect of that privacy policy with the operator of the linked site. These links to third party websites are provided as a convenience and are for informational purposes only. GrowBetween does not endorse, and is not responsible for, these linked websites.


Personal or Company Information is identifying information about you or your company; for example: company name, address, e-mail address, or telephone number.

We collect information that is voluntarily provided to us through listing creation, search functions, questionnaires, feedback, account creation and the like. We may also ask you to provide additional information if you want to obtain additional services, information, contact other users, or to resolve complaints or concerns.

Voluntary information that is collected by

  • Company information uploaded during account creation
  • Listing details including price, quantity, location of listing, photos etc. that is uploaded during listing creation
  • Messages between users related to the buying/selling of products, properties and services that are listed on, and messages between users and GrowBetween administration.
  • Uploaded documents including cannabis licenses

Most of the private information collected by GrowBetween is provided voluntarily by the users who access the website. Users may provide whatever level of information they are comfortable with, however it may affect the user’s ability to use some of the Sites features.

Data that is automatically collected by using

  1. Web log data (e.g. access times, pages viewed, and Internet Protocol address);
  2. Data about your device (e.g. operating system, device type, browser type); and
  3. Data collected through cookies (see the Cookies section below for more information).
  4. Information collected by Google Analytics (please see for more information about what data is collected).


Private information is stored by GrowBetween for the purpose of running the website and for maintaining current and historical usage on behalf of our users. For example: expired listings will remain in a user’s account history and messages will remain in a users message history. Private information is also used for statistical and marketing purposes and shall be handled in a manner that removes identifying information prior to being disclosed to any third part.

GrowBetween might need to use personal or company user data in connection with website maintenance, upgrades, new releases, or analytics data review or compilation, or marketing. We may also be required to share user data with any third-party service providers that we might engage to assist in these efforts. However, in any instance where we share private user data, it shall be stripped of identifying information and GrowBetween will take steps necessary for ensuring that these service providers employ adequate security measures with respect to user data.


GrowBetween will not disclose private personal or company information, that you provide on its Site, to any third parties other than to a GrowBetween agent except: i) in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy, or ii) to comply with legal requirements such as a law, regulation, warrant, subpoena or court order, and/or iii) if you are reporting an adverse event/side effect, in which case the Company may be required to disclose such information to bodies such as, but not limited to, Canadian and/or international regulatory authorities. Please note that any of these disclosures may involve the storage or processing of personal information outside of Canada and may therefore be subject to different privacy laws than those applicable in Canada, including laws that require the disclosure of personal information to governmental authorities under circumstances that are different than those that apply in Canada.

Creating a listing:

When you create a listing with GrowBetween, we require that you provide us with specific information associated with said listing. The collection of this data is necessary to place the advertisement and the user understands that this information will be displayed publicly along with identifying company information that allows other users to contact you or your company.

Cannabis Licenses:

Cannabis licenses are collected by GrowBetween for the purpose of verifying the legal status of the user before allowing said user to create or respond to listings involving cannabis products or services. Copies of Cannabis Licenses shall be stored by GrowBetween and shall not be disclosed to any outside entities unless required by applicable laws.

Users who have not submitted a valid cannabis license can view cannabis products and services listings but cannot view pertinent information such as price, quantity, date available, etc, nor can they message the listing creator.


The Company, in common with many web site operators, may use standard technology called “cookies” on its Site. Cookies are small data files that are downloaded onto your computer when you visit a particular web site. You can disable cookies by turning them off in your browser; however, some areas of the Site may not function properly if you do so.


Personal or company information you share with us is stored on our database servers at Company data centers, or hosted by third parties who have entered into agreements with us that require them to observe our Privacy Policy.

We have put in place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and correctly use the information we collect online. The Company applies security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, such as retaining information in secure facilities and making personal information accessible only to authorized employees on a need-to-know basis.


GrowBetween retains the right to change or update its Privacy Policy at any time and without warning, however we will make all efforts to inform our users when a change occurs. The Privacy Policy that is most recently available on the website is the policy that is in effect and shall be considered to be the most recent version.


Users can obtain access to all of their private information by accessing their user account. User accounts show company information, current and historical listing information, and current and historical conversations. Users may remove a listing from public view but the information will remain on our servers for a period not less than 12 months.

Messaging information, including conversations between users, is stored on our servers and can be accessed at any time by any of the parties to the conversation. Messaging information shall be stored on GrowBetween servers for a period not less than 12 months.


In the future, GrowBetween may need to share user data with its affiliated entities, including parent companies and subsidiaries. Furthermore, if the company participates in a merger, stock purchase, asset purchase, or other acquisition, it will be required to share user information with the purchaser or surviving entity.


GrowBetween cooperates with government and law enforcement officials to enforce and comply with the law. We may therefore disclose personal information, usage data, message data, and any other information about you, if we deem that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process (such as a subpoena or court order), or enforceable governmental request; (b) enforce the Terms of Use, including investigation of potential violations thereof; (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of the Company, its users or the public, as required or permitted by law.
